Community Sanitation Program

Community Sanitation Program is held effectively in Ranibas VDC on the occasion of International Youth Day-2016. We gave the proper meaning of sanitation and make them understood about it. “Sanitation generally refers to public health and prevention of diseases”. We (member of the organization) along with the villagers went around the locality and collected wastes and dust at a proper place. We taught them to dispose the wastes by making a pit. We also suggested them not to throw the wastes wherever they like. We talked to them about personal hygiene and told them that it is a part of healthy life style. We taught them the proper way to wash their hands after doing any tasks. We talked to them about the advantages and disadvantages of afforestation and deforestation too. After all we were very happy to hear a good response from the villagers.
