Human Development and Environment Conservation Center (HUDECC) was established in 2060 BS aiming at creating communal harmony, coexistence, and people’s participation in overall development, environment and biodiversity conservation to offer a better human society and sustainable development through novel creation and it is working in the field of overall human development and environment conservation with the concept of sustainable peace and development. It is a non-profitable and non-political social organization initiated by social workers, human right activists, lawyers, health experts and media persons. HUDECC is registered at the District Administration Office and affiliated in the Social Welfare Council. It is also an active member of NGO Federation, Nepal. Being an organization of local development visionaries, it has gained a prestigious position among all within a very short period of time. It has initiated very important roles in Maoist insurgency period in Nepal to release the war imprisoned. It also established “Radio Sinhuligadhi” for the voices of voiceless people based on participatory approach.
